Helpful Information When working with InnerBloom Therapy
Billing & Insurance
We work with the following insurance companies: Colorado medicaid, Colorado Access (CHP+), Aetna, and United Healthcare. We are adding more insurances, so contact us for the most up-to-date information. We also accept private pay as well if you do not want to go through an insurance provider.
For out-of-network speech therapy, we are able to provide you with a superbill or medical receipt at your request, in order to seek reimbursement for therapy sessions. We recommend that you call your insurance provider to find out if you are eligible for out-of-network speech therapy. We are happy to speak with you to help you understand what specific questions to ask your insurance provider. If you have a HSA/FSA card, you may use that to pay for therapy services.
Frequently asked
questions
-
What ages do you work with.
InnerBloom Therapy works with children 0-18 years old.
-
Are parents or caregivers allowed in the session?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it. We pride ourselves in being a family-centered practice. This means we want our families to feel like active participants in therapy so that they can feel comfortable carrying over the skills we are working on.
-
Where are services provided and how long are your sessions?
Therapy services are provided within the child’s home, daycare, or community settings. Therapy sessions are typically scheduled for 30-45 minutes. The frequency of sessions varies based on the individual's needs. Some children might require weekly sessions, while others may benefit from bi-weekly or monthly visits. The therapist will develop a personalized plan.
-
Is a referral needed before starting?
This is dependent on your specific insurance plan. After verifying your insurance plan, we will let you know if a referral is needed prior to scheduling an evaluation.
-
Can you work with my child if they receive speech therapy services at school?
Yes, we have many families who choose to receive private speech therapy in addition to their school-based speech therapy. We provide one-on-one therapy, whereas services at school are most often in a group setting. We are happy to collaborate with your child’s other therapist(s).
-
What does it mean to be neurodiverse affirming?
InnerBloom Thenapy is a eurodiversity-affirming practice. We value and respect all ways of thinking and communicating and believe all brains are beautiful!. We honor each child’s unique strengths, special interests, specific sensory needs, and play styles. Our therapy style is play-based, child-led, and strives for connection over compliance.
Payment INformation
